Welcome April! First off, thank you for all of you who have subscribed to my Newsletter! I didn’t expect such an uptake and am very appreciative of your support. For those who may have missed it, you can subscribe here. I am new to MailChimp, so it appears that after a “campaign” as they call it, is sent, it can’t be sent to any new subscribers, so I am now working towards the second one. Hopefully, I will be able to link the first in the second one for new subscribers. For the second Newsletter, am working on a themed one! Can’t wait to release it.
It is my husband’s birthday on Friday. We plan to order in for the first time since we started our isolation journey together, two weeks ago. Likely pizza, his favourite take-out!
In terms of keeping busy, we plan to clean our balcony as soon as the weather warms up, so we can at least enjoy the sun outside as we normally do during spring & summer. Am looking forward to the additional square footage of space, although we have always faired well in our small condo, having another hang out area will be welcomed! In the next few days, I plan to do a thorough clean out of my closet and will likely document it for IG stories, and will walk through the pieces I have decided to keep and why. On a side note, about two months ago, I purchased a Nanushka top from a blogger in the States. The short story of this, is that it never showed up. I won’t go into all the details, but needless to say I was super disappointed that it didn’t arrive as I wanted to use it to launch a new “in my closet” series I was contemplating on starting. Perhaps something else in the closet clean up will be used as a substitute, TBD.
On the blog front, I plan to do a round-up of favourite candles, as this is one item that I feel is worth splurging on while being isolated ~ a small luxury, especially now that our income has been reduced. I also plan on two new beauty posts and one travel post.
Until next month, which we can only hope we’ll be better off than now during this COVID-19 pandemic, keep up your spirits, listen to music, meditate, eat optimally, do some form of exercise and sleep well.
